Microblading
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique where a tiny blade composed by very fine needles is used to deposit pigment into the upper layer of the skin, in order to create natural looking hair, like hair strokes. The procedure is done manually using disposable sterile tools and permanent makeup pigments that are manufactured in accordance with the highest standarts (PhiBrows pigments), to match your natural eyebrow color. It is intended to fill in patchy eyebrows and make it look more defined, or to create entirely in the case of a complete hair loss.
Immediately after the treatment is done, the pigment will appear very sharp and darker. This happens because it is still positioned on top of your skin and has not yet settled in completely. As time is passing the color will gradually get lighter, starting to match your natural tone. Aftercare plays a crucial part of the healed result, so it is required to properly follow the instructed aftercare routine. Depending on the skin type and care, the result can last between 1-2 years, preferably with touch ups in order to remain the color fresh.

Q&A
Microblading itself is not a painful procedure, but some level of pain or discomfort should be expected. We will make sure you feel as little as possible by using anesthetic to numb the area.
No, we do not recommend microblading while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Microblading pigment color is primarily chosen based on your natural brow hair color and skin tone. Most clients’ pigment results stay true to color and lighten naturally over time. At your touch-up appointment, Chelsea will analyze how your body responded to the initial color and make any modifications needed.
Post treatmentcare
30 min after the treatment rinse the eyebrows with neutral soup (children). Remove all the lymph and previously applied cream by doing so. After that apply a very thin layer of PhiShield (will be provided).
In the next 7 days, maintain facial hygiene and apply the cream after washing your face or having a shower 3-4 times during the day.
What is to be avoided
During the first 7 days all the creams (except for the protective one), all make-up in the eyebrow area. Avoid workouts that involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facial massage and steaming (inhalation)
In the next 30 days
Sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors.
Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
Use of hormonal therapy and antibiotics can lead to faster pigment fading. Always protect the eyebrows from the sun with SPF’s (not during the first 7days).
